Samdi 31 juillet, location de 2 voitures pour partir à 7 dans Long Island pour voir les Hamptons. Petit résumé des Hamptons pour ce qui ne savent pas ce que c'est. Les Hamptons sont un peu les St Tropez américains, baraque de ouf' où les stars sont tous voisins, des porsches, Bentley, Ferrari, mercos à n'en plus finir. Mais les Hamptons ce sont surtout des belles plages qui donnent sur la côte atlantique. Résumé de la journée: départ 10h30 du mat' avec moi et Greg comme conducteur de 2 Chevrolet automatic modèle Classic, et Lolo, Nadia, Nora, Erika et Cyril et Frimousse comme passagers. Arrivée à South Hampton à 13h30 pour un ptit picnic dans un centre ville typique américain, chic et très mignon. Puis à 4h direction la plage uppée de South Hampton avec sable blanc et mer avec de belles vagues. A 6h30, direction Sag Harbor, malheureusement, problème technique avec la voiture qui ne veut pas démarrer. Donc finalement départ pour Sag Harbor à 8h15 !! Ptit repas et glace dans cette charmante et très plaisante bourgade. Puis retour pour Manhattan à 11h30. Arrivée à NY à 1h30, petit tour dans Times Square by night et retour à la maison...Conclusion: très très bonne journée.

Saturday July 31th, rental of 2 cars for 7 people to go to Long Island to visit the Hamptons. Brief sumary of what Hamptons are. These are the American St Tropez (in France) with Hundred Crazy and Big Houses in a neighbourhood for stars, with porsche, Bentley, Ferrari and Mercedes as you have never seen. Hamptons are the best beaches of Long Island. Sumary of the day: departure at 10.30 am with Greg and me as drivers of 2 Chevrolet automatic model Classic, and Lolo, Nadia, Nora, Erika, Cyril and Frimousse as passengers. Arrival at South Hampton at 1.30 pm to have a picnic in the downtown of a typically american city, smart and cute. Then, we went tot the beach with white sand and waved sea. At 6.30 pm, technical issue with the car. At 8.15, departure to Sag Harbor. Tiny dinner and ice cream in the seaport of a charming and pleasant city. Then, Return to Manhattan at 11.30 pm. Arrival at 1.30 am for a tour in TImes Square by night. Conclusion: very very pleasant day, in spite of the technical issue.
